I saw a photo of a pangolin and all I could think was how much it resembled a pinecone – in fact a Norway Spruce cone to be specific. But pangolins are found in Africa and Asia, from rainforests to dry savannas. The Norway Spruce grow in the northern regions. That is just as well for this poor red squirrel. This is a pinecone he won’t soon forget!
